Criteria for The London Community Gospel Choir – MAIN CHOIR
LCGC is a faith based choir and therefore all its members have to be practicing Christians and belong to a church. They should be of good vocal standard with a musical knowledge and practice in singing harmonies. LCGC requires commitment and all members are required to attend regular rehearsals and gigs as standard, failing this will result in having to re-audition – this position is voluntary. Must have good sense of rhythm and movement as this plays and integral part of LCGC’s performance. LCCG are a PROFESSIONAL choir. We will weigh your first audition up by looking at the three T’s – Tone, Texture and Talent.
Criteria for Rev The Session Agency
Session singers need to be competent sight singers or capable of picking up a song by ear very quickly. You are expected to be able to walk into any performing environment be it studio, stage or TV and perform whatever music is required. Must have good vocal ability, reliability and the ability to work under a variety of conditions with all sorts of people are essential qualities. Must have a good knowledge of “Gospel’ music and performance as this is an integral part of the work supplied by Rev The Session Agency. Must be a good mover.
