The Songs of Praise School choirs competition is now in its seventh year! It showcases the varied talents of school choirs nationwide. Judging the competition will be Bazil Meade along with Dame Lesley Garrett and Howard Goodall who have the task of deciding the Junior and Senior schools choir of the year 2009! This competition is very close to Bazil's heart as he is passionate about music in schools and ensures that the educational arm of LCGC reaches out as much as possible in schools doing workshops and refreshing the minds of children and teachers. The final six choirs will be performing in front of the judges and a live audience this Sunday 22nd March on BBC One at 5.00pm, Sunday 29th March and Sunday 5th April.
