The Nation’s Favourite Choir releases first “crossover” album This ‘Glorious’ album by the Nation’s Favourite Choir is evidence of the power and beauty of the human voice. On their first ever ‘crossover’ album, the London Community Gospel Choir showcase their extraordinary voices, glorious harmonies and stunning arrangements, mixing classic songs ‘Let It Be’, ‘Now That We Found Love’ ‘Hallelujah’ and U2’s ‘One’ with some of the most enduring inspirational anthems, such as ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘Abide With Me’, ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot’ and ‘We Shall Overcome’. A collective of the finest voices in the country, the choir members are of all ages, races, religions and backgrounds and, although rooted in the glorious gospel tradition, their unique style also spans soul, R’n’B and swing-beat and is delivered with irresistible energy and choreography. LCGC were the sound of ITV's 2009 FA Cup coverage with the theme song ‘Abide With Me’. Their glorious rendition brings a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘community singing’, as was evidenced when they led the crowd, and raised the roof, by singing it on the pitch at Wembley last year before the 2009 FA Cup Final. The choir recently led the vocal celebrations at Twickenham’s centenary match when A Glorious record by the Nation’s Favourite Choir
