    We’re back for a special celebration of gospel music with Gospel by Candlelight.

    Set in Hackney’s iconic Round Chapel, this concert features the powerful vocals of a 12-piece gospel choir, backed by a sensational live band, singing a specially curated selection of songs that blends the uplifting spirit of gospel with songs from musical theatre, film soundtracks, soul and R&B.

    Songs included will be ‘Circle of Life’ from The Lion King, which the choir recorded with Elton John for the 1994 Disney film. Songs from beloved musicals such as RENT and The Color Purple will also be included, alongside ‘Joyful, Joyful’ from Sister Act 2, and tributes to icons like Aretha Franklin and Nina Simone.
